Owned and operated by Samuel B. Nelson, Massage On The Go specializes in providing relaxing and rejuvenating chair massages, designed to decrease stress, improve mood, and ultimately boost workplace productivity.
Our experienced and expert therapists are highly skilled in delivering effective chair massages. These massages are performed while the client remains fully clothed, typically in 10-20 minute intervals, allowing employees to quickly return to their work. We also offer customizable scheduling to meet your specific needs.
Samuel Nelson achieved his childhood goal of working for himself, beginning as a licensed massage therapist in 2003 to growing his chair massage business to 550 massage therapists nationwide. Beyond his entrepreneurial success, Samuel is a dedicated community leader. He arranges free public speaking seminars in Orange Mound, the community where he grew up, focusing on developing business plans and viable businesses. His commitment to giving back is further demonstrated through his podcasts about small businesses and mentoring neighborhood kids, sharing his knowledge and experience to inspire the next generation of entrepreneurs.
Samuel was recognized in the Memphis Business Journal’s 2023 "40 Under 40" for his outstanding contributions to business and the community. His nominator highlighted his hard work, flexibility, and willingness to pivot and try new things to grow his business. As a homegrown businessman, Samuel is a prime example of the benefits of hard work and a valued member of the community, dedicated to making Memphis a better place. In 2023, Samuel was an integral educator at the first annual Black Massage Therapist Conference, sharing his expertise and inspiring other massage therapists to excel in their practice.
